Mike Williams has bone bruise, not a season-ending injury

Chargers rookie wide receiver Mike Williams won't play against the Browns next weekend but he should return and help the team this season.
NFL Media's Ian Rapoport said that Williams has a bone bruise in his knee, not ligament damage. so the team consider his status as week-to-week.
"#Chargers WR Mike Williams' knee injury from Thursday is being described as a bone bruise, source said. He's out this week, then is week-to-week going forward. No ACL damage, not season-ending. With LA's sudden viability, this is important down the stretch." (@RapSheet)
Williams missed the first few weeks of the season because of a back injury and he's battled knee issues that resulted in him leaving last Thursday's 28-6 win over the Cowboys.
The Chargers have won their last two games and at 5-6, reaching the playoffs is possible. If Williams can return over the next few weeks then Philip Rivers would have another valuable weapon down the stretch.
