Cavaliers would consider trading for DeAndre Jordan

by

Can DeAndre Jordan help the Cavaliers be more competitive if they reach another NBA Finals against the Warriors?

According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, a league source believes the Cavaliers would trade Tristan Thompson for DeAndre Jordan. Vardon also said that the first round pick from the Nets would be included as well.

Jordan can become a free agent after the season if he declines his $24.1 million player option for 2018-19. The star center has recently been part of many trade conversations, which makes sense as the Clippers are just 6-11 considering giving up on the season with Patrick Beverley's season-ending knee surgery.

Thompson is in the third of a bad five-year, $82 million deal but adding the first round pick could make the deal more attractive for the Clippers.
